Kathi Kebabs or Kathi rolls is another Street Food item from India that is just loved by one and all. There is now a Kathi Roll stand at almost every corner of Delhi. It is also known as Frankie in a lot of different regions - similar with small variations but still finger-liking good! Refined flour roti roll stuffed with stir fired chicken cubes, green chutney, onions and chillies!

Chicken Manchurian Kathi Roll step by step :

  1. Filling/Stuffing : Heat oil in a cooking pan and add schezwan pepper, once they are fried take them out and add chopped ginger and chopped garlic. Con till it loses the raw smell.
  2. Add Onion and once it becomes translucent add the rest of veggies (Vegetables).
  3. Add all the sauces i.e. Soya Sauce, Red Chilli Sauce, Tomato Ketchup, Vinegar.
  4. Wash chicken breasts nicely and cut them into small pieces.
  5. Add chicken in a pan and season with salt. Cook till chicken gets tendered.
  6. When gets tendered add fried schezwan pepper, stir using a spatula and cook for few minutes. Once it gets cooked keep it aside.
  7. Assembling : Break eggs in a bowl and season with salt and pepper.
  8. Pour oil in another non-stick pan and put one tortilla on it. Pour little egg mixture on tortilla and spread all over it.
  9. Cook from both sides till egg is cooked and then place little portion of chicken manchurian mixture and make a roll. Cook chicken manchurian mixture covered in tortilla for few minutes.
  10. Serve Hot.
